TPS2544: USB2.0 cannot recognize

Hello expert,

Customer has issue on their NB system. They found out USB2.0 cannot be recognized when TPS2544 is placed with specific CPU. And they found out eye diagram has signal loss really but still pass. They want to know about below two questions.

  • Do we test signal quality before IC is shipping to customer?
  • Do we have another solution like TPS2546/TPS2549 which could provide better signal quality compared to TPS2544?
