Hello Saito,
As you can see in the Functional Block Diagram 8.2, PG pin is connected to a transistor. It then means when impedance is High, current is not flowing. Active output discharge pulls PG low only under certain condition when VIN is greater than 0.7V.
What is your concern here?

So, The PG pin is only connected to a transistor and there is no protection diode in the PG pin. Is that correct?
