TPS7B4253-Q1: High Accuracy LDO Application with Vref Less than Vout

Hi Team,

In section 8.2.3 of the TPS7B4253-Q1 Datasheet it describes a high-accuracy LDO application using a reference at the ADJ pin, with the output tracking the the ADJ pin.  I'm just wondering what would be the accuracy performance if I want a higher Vout by adding the feedback resistors?

Assuming ideal resistors for now, would that just be the 4mV across multiplied by equation 2 on page 13?

    Hi Jerry, 

    The 4mV accuracy is defined at the FB pin, if you have ideal resistors, ideally the DC accuracy should pretty much stay as the gain times of 4mV. But with the additional gain, the AC performance including PSRR and noise will see some changes as well.
