LMR61428: 7 - 12Vin, 13.2Vout - What max current?

I have an operating issue that is not covered by the datasheet. I have a variable 7 to 12V in and needs 13.2V out. What current can I expect out?

The LMR61428 should be rated for 2.8A, but the graphs in the datasheet are clearly inadequate regarding higher voltage in.

Could you share your schematic? what is the required output current. this device is not quite good for this application, do you consider other device?

Hi Jasper

I have decided to use the LMR62014 instead. According to webench, it will go down to 5% dutycycle and still work with 12V in and 12.6V out. My Imax is approx. 0.6A at 12.6V. Input is approx. 9V, but can vary in extreme conditions between 7V and 12V.

Hi,

Please use 3 4.7uF input caps and 3 4.7 uF output caps. WEBENCH has a QTY notice that Cin and Cout qty is 3.
