Dear, Sir.

My customer is considering to replace from UCC3813DTR-0 to UCC2813DTR-0,

also from UCC3813DTR-1 to UCC2813DTR-1.

I tried to read out the datasheet, but following are not clear.

Sorry to disturb your job about this kind of matter, Please give your advice.

1) What is the difference between UCC3813DTR-0 & UCC2813DTR-0,

also UCC3813DTR-1 & UCC2813DTR-1?

2) I wonder same process is applied to UCC3813DTR-0 & UCC2813DTR-0,

also UCC3813DTR-1 & UCC2813DTR-1?

3) Please give your advice if you have a concern or remarkable point

for the replacement from UCC3813 to UCC2813.

Hello H.Sakai,

The only difference between these parts is the temperature ratings.

Section 7.5 of the data sheet shows this:

The UCC3813-0 has a temp range from 0 to 70C and the UCC2813-0 has a temp range from -40C to 85C

I would like to double-confirm.

I wonder the same BiCMOS process is used for both UCC3813-x & UCC2813-x?

Sorry to ask about this kind of matter, Because the customer's internal authorization

for new device will become simplified if it was same.

Hi Sakai-san,

Yes the UCC3813-x and the UCC2813-x are manufactured with the same process.

The only difference is the rated temperature range.

Regarding testing process, I wonder the testing for UCC2813-x & UCC3813-x are

totally separated?

OR the base of testing is for UCC3813-x, so additional testing(such as screening) is added

for UCC2813-x for wide temperature range assurance product?

Hi Sakai-san,

The tests are all the same and are detailed on the tables of the data sheet. No extra screening or additional testing between parts.

The only difference is the temperature range that the parts are tested at.
