LM3643: Strobe at 150Hz and pass mode vs boost operation

Hi Support team

Customer has a few questions:

  1. Section 9.3.3 talks about IR mode. Figure 27 is IR mode with Boost and Figure 28 is IR mode pass only. However the enable register only shows IR drive mode (Mode bits). Does the chip figure out whether to be in pass mode or boost mode automatically?
  2. What is the best way to turn the led current off/on at 150 Hz? Enable the Strobe Enable bit in the Enable register and just toggle the STROBE pin on the chip at 150hz?

Can you answer these two questions of us?
