Hello,

 

I want to confirm the difference between TPS2595 and TPS2596.
TPS2595 and TPS2596 look very similar except for the package and R_ON.
Is there any big difference except for the package and R_ON?

Because although TPS2596 is newer one and 1K web price is the same as TPS2595, TPS2596 R_ON is higher than TPS2595.
So I wonder if TPS2596 has something better specification than TPS2595.

 

My customer is looking for 1A class eFuse.
Then I would like to know which is better selection.

    Hi Oba,

    TPS2596 is mainly suitable for Industrial applications which need leaded package. One more advantage of TPS2596 is that it can support lower current limit thresholds upto 0.125 A.

    In case you want to set current limit threshold at 1A and  WSON package is okay for your application, then you can go ahead with TPS2595.
