Hello, 

checking the MPPT charge controller reference design for 12- and 24-V solar panels a RC filter has been added between the mcu and LM5109.

Is this RC (or only R) suggested when a 3.3V mcu is connected to LM5109?

    Hello Daniele,

    When starting a new design, it is recommended to make provisions for a small R/C filter on the driver inputs in case there is high frequency noise induced on the driver input traces, or if there is ground bounce from the controller ground to the driver ground.

    The board layout details will determine if the R/C filters are necessary to prevent noise spikes on the driver inputs from possibly false triggering the driver.
