BQ24721C: Is the BQ24721C Not Recommended for New Designs?

Hello Team,

BQ24721C has no stock in the TI store but is available on Digi Key, actually only available through Digi key. It says that this is an active part of TI.COM but on Digi Key is labeled as Not Recommended for New Designs.

Can you confirm if this part is active or are there plans to NRND this part?

Hey Julio,

I will have to check on that. TI just rolled out a new Part Status system, but I need to verify if this part has been impacted by this and is showing Active when it really is not.
