TLV758P: Voltage range for EN pin

Hi, team,

I would like to know the voltage range for EN pin. User application use 1.8V for Vin and voltage range for EN is 3.3V which may controlled by exterenal MCU.

Is it possible to support customer condition?

Hi Nagata-san,

Yes. In our Absolute Maximum Raings tbale, we show VEN is independent in VIN:

If the LDO required VIN to be higher then VEN, it would show that VEN can be no higher than 0.3V above VIN. See example from TLV733 dataheet:

Could you please re-check about your answer?

I afraid the protection diode may get damage when Vin = 1.8V and EN=3.3V if there is a diode between VIN and EN as below. Will the device not get damage?

Hi Nagata-san,

That ESD diode is not present. There is one from GND to EN.
