BQ27531-G1: Analog and Digital Ground

Hi,

While routing my PCB, I was looking at figure 17 from the BQ27531 datasheet and saw that the GND net was routed in a star configuration. I was wondering if there are other ways to route this net since it is not routed this way on the BQ27531EVM evaluation board. What's the best way to route this net? I guess I can't route it the same way I do on digital IC since it's a mixed signal device.
