LMG1020: LMG1020 in High Side mode?

Hello,

My name is Serguei Dorofeev. I would like to build a highest speed Half-Bridge GaN FET driver. I would like to use LMG1020 on high side also to get maximum speed from this circuitry. Could you please recommend best suited halvanically isolated control to LMG1020, connected to high side GaN FET. I'm ready to use halvaniccaly isolated power supply to power up LMG1020 and control circuitry.

Thanks for reaching out about LMG1020, welcome to e2e!

Please check out the following app note on how to turn a low side driver into a high side one.

We recommend ISO77xx for control isolation, for the high-side supply we recommend either an isolated supply using SN6501 or bootstrap technique.

Hello Jeff,

Thanks for advise. I'm sorry, but recommended solution doesn't solve my issue. Recommended solution doesn't use a whole capabilities of LMG1020. I would like to have capability to drive GaN FET transistor with speed of > 50MHz with PW below 5ns.
