I'm using LG HG2 cells in battery pack. I did learning cycle to BQ20Z655-R1 but IC has still capacity problems. Like using battery in extreme enviromental conditions so that cells' cut-off voltage drops below 2.5V. When I discharge in this situation, battery capacity is lower than minimum capacity. And IC acts "I have lower capacity from learning cycle capacity". This makes IC measures wrong capacity.

My questions are,

  1. Does IC update its capacity every cycle?
  2. Can you send LG HG2 Chem ID?
  3. If I enter LG HG2 Chem ID, will this problem solve?

    The process for using our IT gauges is to first identify the correct chem id. Then program it and perform a learning cycle with constant current at room temperature.

    -qmax will update after you have had two rest perfiods are a charge and discharge cycle... the process is:  dicahrge to empty, rest 5 hours-charge to full- rest two hours-dsicharge to empty, rest 5 hours. Make sure IT is enabled before discharging

    2. Pls follow the instructions in our online tool, gpc chem to determine a close chem id for your cells.

    3. You have to program the chem id and then perform a learning cycle.
