TPS3895: Failed to protect MCU from core voltage drop, any risk on the design?

Hi expert,

My customer is using TPS3895 to protect F28377s's 1.2V core voltage with below circuit design. They tested with suddenly cut off the 1.2V power supply when MCU is running, but the power stage is damaged. Do you have any comments here?

Hi Sheldon,

I noticed you have a voltage rail of 1.2 V going into sense, but this is resistor divided down to ~0.5 V. Is this an intended configuration? This will cause the device to trip at this point. This seems to also be the level for the device on the right. What threshold do they intend the device to trip at?
