TPS62801: Vout range 1.6~1.75V

Hello Support team,

Do you have any option for supporting Vout range from 1.6 to 1.75V with TPS6280x family?

Do you have any option supporitng to set more fine step Vout, like 0.25V?
or do you have other products similar performance with TPS62801/2 for supporting more fine step?

Hi Takahashi-san,

The closest device to TPS6280x family that supports 1.6V to 1.75V Vout range is TPS6282x series (refer to the attached DS for reference). However, TPS6282x series are in QFN package.

Only TPS546D24 can support 0.25V output. Can you send the details of this requirement in our TI email? Search for Excel in PeopleSearch.

Can we make TPS62821/2/3 the candidate also instead of TPS6280x?
What different between TPS62825/6/7 and TPS62821/2/3?
The difference are the package size and the current range?

Hello Takahashi-san,

TPS62821 is a better alternative for TPS62801/2 as it is 1A rated device and can support 1.6V to 1.75V output as well.

TPS62821/2/3 and TPS62825/6/7 were from the same product family and the main difference is the package dimension. TPS62821/2/3 has slightly bigger package at 2.0 x 1.5 mm while 1.5 x 1.5 mm for TPS62825/6/7.
