LM3466: LM3466 internal MOSFET switching Characteristics ?

In the datasheet of LM3466 has no information related to switching characteristics of internal MOSFET.

    This is NOT a switching LED driver.  It is a linear driver.  Why are you asking this question?

    I know this is not switching LED driver. But I am planning to use this LM3466 for another application for example Transmitting IR high current pulse Max 1.5 A. That the reason, I need to know the switching time of the MOSFET.

    I believe there is some slew rate limiting/ramp control there and I believe is on the order of 10 ms, but  will have to investigate further and it will not be something that has been characterized, thus it will not be a guaranteed specification.  I also believe the filter on the VEQ lines as well as the filter on the ILED will affect timing.  

    Is there a specific requirement you need to meet for timing?   More information about the application would be helpful along with a schematic.  If it is proprietary then we can take this offline.

    My IR signal frequency is 42Khz, with rise time and fall time of 500 ns.

    I am looking for an alternative to (Infrared Driver IC) U426B IC.  If you have any further idea please help me.

    I do not think given the internal slew rate of the LM3466 that it is suitable for your application. In terms of other recommendations, our newer devices are mostly buck or boost/buck-boost type LED drivers or controllers, and TI also has several linear LED drivers.
