Hi Team,

We understand that the range of SOLDER PASTE in a red frame so it is wider thanφ0.23mm of land pattern.

Is my understanding correct?

If yes, I have two questions.

I have a concern for the bridge(short) of the solder.

Therefore, could you please let us know the merit of this EXAMPLE?

[Q2]

May I narrow a range of SOLDER PASTE?

And, could you please let us know if you have any concern?

Hi Hide,

Solder bridges should not occur if you follow the recommendations made in this FAQ followed by a careful manufacturing/populating process: http://www.ti.com/support-quality/faqs/wafer-level-chip-scale-package-faqs.html

By adding too little solder, the mounting of the device might be insufficient and therefore may lead to application issues or even reliability issues over time.
