BQ24103: BQ24103 when battery charge full the LED flash

when battery charge full the battery over charged and the LED become flash.

Hi Star,

CELLS is high so I assume this is a 2-cell battery wanting to be charged to 8.4V. The charger regulates to that voltage based on the voltage at its BAT pin. Is the waveform on the screen that voltage or is it measured closer to the battery? If measured at BAT it appears that the charger is attempting to detect whether or not a battery is connected as explained in 8.3.16 Battery Detection. Is it possible that the connection from BAT to the battery pack is so resistive that the Iwake current is enough to create a voltage drop that takes the partially charged battery up to 8.4V?
