I have a question about LP2992 ESR requirement for output capacitor.

Capacitor's ESR has frequency characteristics. What frequency range should we see for the ESR requirement?

HI Sato-san,

You are correct in that there is a frequency component to ESR. For stability, we mean that the minimum ESR is required for stability. Our newer LDO's like the TPS7A24 and TPS7A25 are much less sensitive to ESR.
