What is the frequency of the PWM in FPWM enabled variants, when no external clock is applied? Are there any conditions under which it may vary?

Hi,

The frequency is 2.1MHz.

If Vin is too small or too big compared to Vo, and makes ton_min or toff_min triggered, frequency will drop.

or if output current is too big and makes current limit triggered, frequency will drop.

I am confused by the description in the data sheet. This would mean I can support duty cycles between 12.6 and 79 percent without any change in frequency. Where would the fpwm version behave differently?

Hi,

The only difference between FPWM and PFM is when IC works at light load. When PFM IC works at light load, it will decrease switching frequency,but FPWM IC won't.
