Hello; I used WEBENCH to design with this switcher and an unclear whether an increase to the recommended output capacitance may have any ill effects on the performance. Specifically, I used the following parameters: Vinmin = 7 Vinmax = 18 Vout = 5V, and Iout = 500mA
WEBENCH used a 22uF Cout. However, my client decided to place two 22uF caps on the output, as well as two 1uF caps...I read an appnote that said if you increased the Cout on an externally compensated switcher, you'll need to also adjust the compensation (?). Can you clear this up for me?
