TPS2120: switching of negative power supply by using a CPU (3.3V IO)

Hi there,
is there anny application note that describes how to switch a negative Voltage supply by using a CPU IO, I'd like to supply my analog circuitry from two different negative sources, that I'd like to choose by using FET switch. That means I want to switch the negative side not the ground side.

Hi Thomas,

TPS2120 cannot be used here as the minimum voltage on the input pins is -0.3V.

I think you may need to look at TI's Hot Swap Controller portfolio: http://www.ti.com/power-management/power-switches/efuse-hotswap-controllers/products.html

Off the top of my head I think devices like TPS23523, TPS23521 and TPS23525 may work in your application. The application examples in these device datasheets provide further detail.
