TPS3421: Hardware reset operation error

Part Number: TPS3421

1. Supply power to VCC (VIN) by using Vout pin of MCU.
-> MCU's power supply is supplied by battery.
2. After 8 seconds using PB1, PB2, it gives RESET signal to MCU. Hardware reset of MCU is activated.
3. Occasionally after assembly, TPS3421 malfunctions and reset does not work.
4. If the battery is removed and reattached, the hardware reset operation will proceed normally.

Is there a reason for this?
Is there a circuit improvement method?

Hi Andy,

I'm a little confused by your request. Can you clarify what you mean by "after assembly" the device malfunctions? What is happening to the rails? If you have scope shots of the inputs and outputs, it would help tremendously.
