Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5145
What is limiting the LM5145 EVM to 8V max? If I replaced the inductor and other components with values from my design, shouldn't it be able to work at 12V?
Thanks,

Hi,
I assume that you are talking about the output voltage. If that's the case, i can see that some of the output capacitor is rated to 6.3V (C13).
If you want to modify the EVM, you can use the calculator to calculate your component selection and making sure all the voltages are properly rated.
Thanks

Good point, The Murata 220uF is only rated up to 6.3V and the Panasonic is only rated up to 10V. I'll replace all the output caps with higher rated components.
