LM36011: Light will be darker when LED STROBE signal have a narrower high level

Part Number: LM36011

Dear TI

Our product use a led strobe signal to light up the torchlight.

The function will be fine when i set the reg(0x01) to 0x15. But i found that the brightness will be darker when LED STROBE have a narrower high level. This is question1

After testing, this issue will be solved in reg(0x01) to 0x1b. But will bring a new question, the light will show a flicker visible (bright to dark, and repeat) to the eye.

I will upload the issue video to the attachment.

Thanks.

  • The video is issue2 situation.

There is no shark in reg(0x01) to 0x15?

Weither root cause is the higher sensitivity than the level mode?

  • Hi,

What do you mean by a narrow high level? Have you test the current waveform and the corresponding strobe signal?

  • Hi TI

May i have your phone number for better communication?

  • Hi lihao,

You can insert waveforms in the threads or try to find the corresponding FAEs. They will help you in more direct way.
