I am using TPS562200 to convert 12 V to 5V output. At the output of 5V ,I have connected LM1117 to further convert 5V to 3.3 V. I have observed that there is random drop in 5V and 3.3 V level which causes my micro-controller to reset. However on experimentation of putting 330 uF Aluminium Electrolytic Capacitor on 5V and 3.3 V, uC does not resets and it works fine. What can be the reason behind this behavior? Kindly let me know if more information is required. I have attached schematic below
