Hi,

In datasheet, the maximum inductor (assuming Fsw = 2.25MHz) is 0.9uH. Can one increase inductor value higher than 0.9uH for reduced current ripple? Will this cause any potential instability?

    Peng Yu,

    The table from where you have copied the row you show above lists the recommended operating conditions basically describing parameters the device is designed for. Those parameters are used as well to verify and validate the device.

    This means it is not recommended that you use inductors with an inductance above 0.9uH. Whether you want to follow the recommendations is up to you of course.
