Hi All

understand that UC3843 was designed by Unitrode, and manufactured by TI and now available on a market. TL3843 is designed and produced by TI. TL3843 in not 100% equivalent to UC3843 so what is major difference between UC3843 and TL3843?

    The data sheet specifications are identical. There is only a minor difference in "maximum duty cycle" for the 3844 and 3845 options.

    The devices should be interchangeable in a well designed system.

    The most likely potential difference is regulation loop frequency compensation as the TL3843 data sheet has no information about phase and gain margins of the error amplifiers.
