TPS7A19: Reverse current protection

Hi

 

Let me check the below

 

-        Does TPS7A1901 have reverse current protection ?
If no, should customer install protection diode if they need ?

 

-        Can PG pin leave open if the pin is unused ?

    Hi Michiaki, 

    TPS7A1901 does not have built-in reverse current protection and the protection needs to be implemented by having an external diode as needed. For LDOs with reverse current protection, the datasheet normally will have this listed on the first page. The PG can be left open or grounded if not in use.
