Hello,
I am designing a solar panel array and considering using ideal bypass diodes every 3 solar cells for a high school project.
The array has approximately 150 cells where any number of them could be shaded. The project is a solar car, meaning that the shade most often is for only short periods of time as it moves around the track and is shaded by the car's windshield or other mechanical components.
I understand there is a duty cycle, would the duty cycle prevent the ideal bypass diodes from functioning as expected?
