Hello,
I understand this part is designed for ceramic output capacitors with low ESR. Does this also apply to the input capacitors, or is an added ESR to the input capacitors fine, and it will remain stable?
For context, the application is that my circuit has a LM1085 regulate an input voltage to 12V, then from the 12V, use a TPS562200 to get a 3.3V line. The output of the LM1085 is close to the input of the TPS562200. The problem here is that the LM1085 needs output capacitors with some ESR (tantalums), but the TPS562200 is intended for Low ESR, but I can't find information if this also applies to the input.
