Hi team,

We have noticed that 62590 have requirement for the max output caps, which is 22uf. 

Why do we have such requirement?

And what if the total caps on the output, including output caps near the inductor and the caps at the input side of the load, have exceeded 22uf? Will the circuit become unstable?

    Hi Fery,

    The internal compensation of this voltage mode control is designed for smallest solution size with the least amount of output capacitance.  You should measure the bode plot on your circuit with your passives to analyze stability.  Exceeding the 22uF effective Cout can lead to instability.

    Please use the TPS62811-Q1 for driving larger output caps.
