TLE4275-Q1: NC pin connection

Part Number: TLE4275-Q1

Hi Team,

May I ask:

  • Pin8 and Pin13 need to connect to GND?
  • Pin17,Pin18 and Pin 19 need to connect together?
  • The thermal pad need to connect to GND?

Thanks!

  • Hello Amelie,

Pin 8 must connect to GND.
Pin 13 is a "no connect".
For simplicity and improved noise performance, you can extend the GND copper underneath the TLE4275 and connect the input capacitor as shown in Figure 22.

    Pin 19 is Vin.
Pins 18 and 17 are "no connects".
Figure 22 is showing how the copper from Vin can extend from pin 19, through pins 18 and 17, which may allow simpler input capacitor placement for some input capacitor package sizes.  You do not need to connect pins 18 and 17 to Vin.

The thermal pad must be tied to GND.

    Thanks,
