Hi Experts,

SS/TR pin is needed to add Css for soft start control. We want to know the voltage for Css. What voltage is applied to Css?

Looking at the table 1 on datasheet P13, C5 is 10V while one for EVM is 50V. Which voltage is better?

    Hi Uchikoshi-san,

    Per the block diagram, the SS/TR pin is pulled up by a current source.  So, the maximum possible voltage is the input voltage since this is the highest voltage that the IC has.

    With the small value capacitors used for the SS/TR cap, lower voltage ratings such as 6.3V are generally not available in the market.  So, higher voltage caps are used.
