Hi team，

What's the control of the TLV62568 exactly?

1. According to the datasheet, "The device operates with an adaptive offtime with peak current control scheme". So whether the control mode of 65568 is PCM or Adaptive off time?

2. In the TI.com, the TLV62568 has been classified to COT mode and it confused me a lot about the control mode of the TLV62568.

3. Could you please help me identify the control mode of the TLV62568 and explain generally ?

    Hi Wesley,

    TLV62568 is a combination of peak current and adaptive off-time controls. The peak current mode control dictates the on-time duration by terminating the pulse once the peak current reached the current limit while on the other hand, the off-time is defined by Vin and Vout (adaptive off-time control). So, technically, TLV62568 is not a constant on-time  (COT) controlled device.
