BQ25125: Switcher output voltage adjustment

Part Number: BQ25125

I could not find a waveform showing transient response when Switcher output voltage is adjusted.  We intend to use this switcher's default output of 1.8V to power the main processor.  I am looking to see if there are any dropouts if voltage is adjusted by small amounts.  looks like 100mV is smallest adjustment.  The issue is if main processor adjusts its own supply from 1.8V to 1.9v will there be a droop in this devices output voltage?

  • Hi Petar,

Attached is an example where the VSYS had a load and we sweeped the registers for VSYS output.

There is no drop altering steps so this can be done. Note that you want to make sure the Enable SW bit is always set to 1 when you are writing these steps.

Let us know if you have any questions.
