Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61023
Hi,
I am working on a design for 2.4V - 3.3V input and output at 3.3V/200mA. I believe when operating at 3.3Vin down conversion mode is active, which explains the low efficiency. When I increase the output to be 3.37V, efficiency increases but is still lower than desired.
Efficiency data is below.
From my understanding the down conversion cannot be disabled. Is there a method for maximizing efficiency when Vin is very close to Vout? What efficiency should I expect under these conditions?
Or is this the wrong part for this application?
Thanks,
Ben
