In "IPGUI" software showing the "hardware not connected" for TPS65217CEVM-CB  evaluation module ,even the USB interface adapter is powered from the USB and  green light is on in the adapter. 

i want to configure the DC-DC converter to different voltage.

    I think you may be using the wrong USB Interface adapter and software combination..

    The TPS65217CEVM was updated to use the IPG-UI along with the USB2ANY adapter. The IPG-UI tool will not recognize USB-TO-GPIO adapter.

    If you have a USB-TO-GPIO adapter, then you need to use the Legacy Software.

    If you are using a USB2ANY adapter and still having issues, then it may require a firmware update with the USB2ANY Explorer tool.
