LM76002-Q1: ISO7637-2 Test Pulse Immunity

Part Number: LM76002-Q1

Hello,

we are using the LM76002-Q1 in an automotive USB charger.

Has a reference design with this device been tested according to ISO7637-2 by TI?
Does a reverse polarity protection diode suffice to reach ISO Pulse immunity Level III or higher?

Thank you and best regards,
Peter

  • Hello Peter,

ISO7637-2 is a system-level spec. I would recommend connecting your FAE for this.

We can provide PIN FMEA document if that helps. Please email me at a-gupta1@ti.com document is required.

  • Hi Ankit,

Thank you for your Response. Of Course ISO7637-2 is System Level. That's why I've asked, if a reference design has been tested by TI. I know other semiconductor manufacturers do that for automotive qualified parts which are intended for interfacing with battery voltage.

We order the parts directly through ti.com and because we don't have FAE support from TI, I have posted this Question in the community.

I've sent you an email regarding the Pin FMEA.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Peter

  • Hello Peter,

TI do not test their designs for ISO system-level specs. I am sorry.
