I want to design a power inverter which converts 12V DC to 220V AC 50Hz sine with about 200W.
I am looking for components, design hints and simulations.

Hi Reinhard,
You could use a step up converter to boost the 12Vdc to 310V or greater and then use a MCU + full bridge MOSFET configuration to give you 220Vac. Something similar to PMP22270 would be good to look at for the step up converter. You may also find this document helpful:http://www.ti.com/lit/an/sprabw0c/sprabw0c.pdf

Hi Ben,
the pmp22270 is a very flexible stepup converter. I have a 13.8 V Li Io accumulator as a source and I only need the 300 V for the 220 V AC with about 200 W. Therefor a very simple flyback is suitable. Is there something available ? It should even be possible to load the accumulator with 220 V AC. Therefore I need another flyback in the other direction. Theoretically it should be possible to use the transformer in both directions. Are there similar solutions available ?

Hi Reinhard,
We do not have any examples of bi-directional flyback with analog control unfortunately but perhaps something similar to PMP9461 would be more suitable for your application:http://www.ti.com/tool/PMP9461
