Team,

My customer has the following questions on implementing TPS65296 with LPDDR4.

1. They would like to power up 5*LPDDR4 with one TPS65296. Is such design feasible?

2. My customer  would need around 2050mA for VDDQ current, but TPS65296 supplies 1.5A only. Can they use external POL for VDDQ rail? Will such design affect the power sequence?

    Andy,

    As long as the VDD1/VDD2 can meet the current requirements, it is okay to drive 5pcs.

    For LPDDR4, seems no VDDQ needed. VDDQ should be provided for LPDDR4X. If you need LPDDR4X with VDDQ>1.5A, you can choose an external power for it, Generally there is sequence request for VDDQ EN and VDDQ. But suggest you check with Memory Vendor to double confirm whether it is needed.
