Hi Team,

My customer is using the device and have input from 3.3V LDO (with current limit 200mA) and the same is connected to other loads also. The device turn-on requirement is high as they are having high switching current limit >250mA.

Customer is looking for switching current limit Boost converter IC (Similar to LT8410/LT84101) which can support very light loads.

Required specifications:

I/P Voltage=2-6V

O/P Voltage= >6V

Load= < 5mA

Iq=<50uA

Please help with your inputs and suggestions.

Hi Shinu,

TPS61251 output voltage cound be configured up to 6.5V, Vin range is 2.3V to 6V. Quiescent current is 30uA and it has Ilimi pin which could configure the input average current limit to 100mA.

Thanks for the input.

By connecting I-limit pin to ground the device output current is limited to 100mA. Can you please help with the inrush/start-up current while the device turns-ON.

Hi Shinu,

This device input average current limit is 100mA by connecting Ilimit pin to ground.

I'm out of office this week so cannot do the bench test with EVM. The figure 10 in datasheet shows the startup test when Ilimi is set to 500mA.
