TPS56339: What will the output voltage be if the input voltage is lower?

Hi,

I plan to use this chip to stabilize the output voltage at 12V. The input voltage can be between 11.5V to 14V. I want to know what the output voltage will be when I provide 12V/11.5V input voltage respectively? Can the high side MOSFET be always on so that I get output voltage = input voltage?

Hi,

This device can't support 100% duty cycle, you need to check the max output voltage on the board, the max output voltage is related to the load current and DCR of inductor.

When the min off time is triggered, the on-time will be extended, and the max on-time is 5us, if the the input voltage is reduced further, the output voltage would be lower than 12V.
