UCD7242: Environmental ratings conflicting information

Part Number: UCD7242

Hi team,

the link below shows that there is indeed lead in the die attach for the UCD7242RSJR:

However, the datasheet labels this device as GREEN (RoHS & No Sb/Br).

How can it be labeled this way when there is lead content? can someone please help clarify if I am mistaken?

Thanks for the correction. what exemption is claimed?

I am looking at the https://www.rohsguide.com/rohs-lead-exemptions.htm

They would like to know specifically which exemption is applied.

Hi Kevin,

The exemption is 7(a): Lead in high melting temperature type solders (i.e. lead-based alloys containing 85 % by weight or more lead). TI has a updated Directive is published (in ti.com’s ECO quality page).
