Since LMG3410R070 features a direct drive architecture, the -14V is used to directly turn on/off the GaN. Thus, the VNEG buck-boost converter cannot be disabled. Otherwise, it will trigger the UVLO protection.
May I know how are you planning to turn on/off the GaN FET if you are not getting the negative voltage generated from the internal converter?
