I am using the UCD90SEQ64EVM-650 evaluation board with the 10-Rail Sequencer and System Health Monitor with 10-Fan Control and setting up the 10 fans in the Fusion Digital Power Designer GUI in the offline mode. When I try to assign the PWMs for a fan to PWM3 (pin 42 - PWM3/GPI3) or PWM4 (pin 41 - PWM4/GPI4), the GUI pops up with the Fatal Program Error copied below and shuts down the program.
The GUI is fine if I assign either of these pins to a fan Tach. line or as a GPI, but it won't let me assign them as PWMs even though the data sheet for UCD90910 and the Pin Selector in the GUI shows that these two pins can be used for fan PWMs. For reference, I would like these pins to both be set to 25KHz initially, which is within the frequency range for them, but I cannot get to the step to input the frequency because the program shuts down before I can add this.
Is there a bug in the GUI that is causing the Fatal Program Error when I try to assign fan PWMs to PWM3 and PWM4? Do I need to set something else up beforehand to use these two pins as PWMs?
