Hi Team,

My customer is performing IC evaluation, but it is at a level of load fluctuation

that cannot be applied with a general electronic load, and the customer is having

trouble evaluating it.

For example, could you introduce a 10A / us class load fluctuation measurement

method or a TI measurement example?

Hi Shidara,

If the current transient is too fast, then the output cap will get discharged before system can react to compensate the change.

The only way to avoid this is to reduce the slew-rate of load transient.

Does the customer need to have a 10A/ us or a slower slew-rate can be used for evaluation?

Thanks for your update.

The customer needs to have a 10A/us test load for DCDC evaluation.

Formerly I used TPS25942EVM-635 for another purpose of evaluation.

I remember this EVM has a below dummy load. Do you think it will be alternative circuit for load transient evaluation

of 10A/us class?
