TPS61390: Setting APD current considerations

We'd like to max out the 61390 and get an 85 volt output from a 2.8 to 3.9 volt input in order to drive an ultrasonic transducer. Will this work and what needs to be done to set current through the APD pin?

    Hi Dave,

    85V is really big. It is already reach the ABS limit. They should be carefully do the layout.  Set the center Vout to 84V to ensure Vout is not too high.

    When Vo=85V, the maximum APD current is less than 4mA even at normal 25C temperature.

    What is your maximum APD current? And by the way, can you choose a lower voltage APD so that you can get higher efficiency?
