TLC59116: Connecting LEDs with Different Vf in Pararell

Hi team,

My customer wants to use connect different LEDs with different Vf to one TLC59116.

So, my customer wants to adjust the heat generated inside TLC59116 at low Vf LED channel .

What is the recommended solution to adjust the power inside TLC59116 in this case?

My customer assumes series resistor connected to LED should work.

Hi Kazuki,

Yes customer could connect a series resistor with LED to decrease some heat on that channel.
One thing need to make sure is that the voltage on output pins should satisfy the current sink saturation voltage, which could be find at Figure 2 of datasheet.
