LMZM33603EVM: No load current at 15mA

Customer is asking if LMZM33603EVM drawing 15mA in no load condition is normal?:

If I disable it, the current drawn is 650uA, which is expected, but in case of no load or light load, 15mA seems excessive. Please confirm if my reading is correct.

Input: 18V

Output: 10V

Enable Hi

Current monitor on the input side. 14.5mA @ 18V

I will go into the lab and power an unboxed LMZM33603EVM and check input current consumption for your application.

Hi Viktorija,

For your application listed above, I have confirmed the following current DMM measurements connected in series to an unboxed LMZM33603EVM :

I_in (EN Low / No Load) = 555uA
I_in (EN High / No Load) = 12.28mA

This is the typical expected behavior of the LMZM33603 during idle no load condition.
